Founded by Julia Pinsleur Levine, Little Pim, Co. is a line of products geared towards introducing children to foreign language learning.  Julia Pimsleur Levine's is the daughter of Dr. Paul Pimsleur, a renowned language professor and when she wanted to begin to teach her child French, she could not find a learning series geared towards young children and babies.

This sparked Julia to create Little Pim. Julia was also a language teacher and this project was a labor of love for her as well as carries on a family legacy. She introduced the series in 2006 and has won multiple awards for it’s products.

We started watching the Little Pim language DVD’s and my kids and I have truly have enjoyed reviewing them. We began with the Spanish DVD and the result is that my kids really are counting to 10 en Español and pepper their English with a few Spanish terms. They lovingly refer to the DVD's as the “Spanish Panda”. I personally am thrilled that my kids are flexing their foreign tongue muscles and am glad to have a mascot help me teach them!!
